Cancellation policy
Safaris that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay, or reduced in the number of passengers are subject to cancellation and No-show fees as follows:
* Cancellations made 0 to 7 days before the start of the tour will be charged 100% of the booking.
* Cancellations made 8 to 12 days before the start of the tour will be charged 50% of the booking.
* Cancellations made 13 to 55 days before the start of the tour will be charged 25% of the booking.
- In case of cancellation, 16% VAT will be deducted from the full amount .
Nairobi Day Excursion / Attractions
- Animal Orphanage Nairobi - This "orphanage" is set in the Nairobi National Park, which is also the headquarters of all national parks in Kenya. It is also the oldest animal orphanage in Kenya. It is a very important training and educational facility. When at the orphanage, you will see more than 20 different types of animals and also different varieties of birds including parrots.
-David Sheldrick's Park better known as Elephant Orphanage since they raise orphaned baby elephants and rhinos and later re in-introduce them back in the world. These baby animals are on a daily service given 24 hour care by their keepers are have become their replacement family. The orphanage is situated a few kilometers from the Nairobi city centre and visitors on transit from the airport have always enjoyed this opportunity to visit this place. However, it is only open for one hour daily between 11 am and 12 noon when the animals are given milk.
-Giraffe Centre [The African Fund for Endangered Wildlife Kenya (A.F.E.W Kenya )] is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded to save the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Visitors are allowed to feed the giraffes with pellets and there is an option to kiss them.
-Nairobi National Park –located 8 km south of Nairobi. The park is separates the wildlife from entering the metropolis. The park is concentrated with different types of animals including the Rhinos which are very easy to spot here. Other animals normally seen are the giraffes, buffaloes, zebras some wildebeest, elands, topi, waterbuck and have over 400 different bird species. While inside the national park, the Nairobi skyscrapers can be seen.
-Bomas of Kenya is a traditional village which belongs to different types of people in Kenya .The word ‘Bomas’ means home steads. While here, you learn different aspects of the Kenyan culture, participate in dancing, have meals and enjoy acrobatic shows. Bomas of Kenya preserves and promotes diverse and rich cultural values of different people in Kenya. It is open from 3 pm for 2 or 3 hours.
-Karen Blixen Museum is internationally known as this where the ‘OUT OF AFRICA’ movie was shot which is an Oscar winning film. This movie is based on Karen’s autobiography. The museum was the house for the Danish Author Karen and her Husband Baron. It is only located 15 km away from the city centre.
You leave after breakfast at 6.30 a.m to commence your Nairobi excursion by starting with the Nairobi National Park visit; here you will have a game drive.
The David Sheldrick Animal Orphanage will then follow from 9.30am to 10.50am
We will leave the David Sheldrick Orphanage at 11 am and head for the Giraffe Centre - 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm
You will have own lunch at Utamaduni from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm
Visit Karen Blixen Museaum from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm
Go to Bomas of Kenya at 4.pm
Carnivore Restaurant from 6 pm to 8 pm. After having dinner, we will transfer you to the airport or your Nairobi Hotel
