Mara Sopa Lodge is a mid-range lodge, which is on the eastern boundary of the Mara. It is very close to the Oloolaimutia entrance gate. The Name Sopa comes from the local Masai language meaning jambo in Swahili or 'hello' in English. Being very close to the national reserve entrance gate, the lodge attracts many animals and birds. The Mara Sopa Lodge has very friendly, disciplined, and professional staff members.
Facilities & Services
Mara Sopa Lodge is built as a modern Masai house made of ceiling and painted walls in red depicting the local Masai in their everyday life. In the center of the lodge, there is a fireplace where clients enjoy the campfire at night. The walls are very well decorated with beautiful beaded necklaces.

- While sharing a room with parent(s) in a baby cot, children below the age of 4 years can stay free of charge
- A maximum of two children below the age of 4 years sharing with parent(s) shall be charged 50% of the room rate
- Children staying in their own room (12 to 18 years) shall be charged 80% of the room rate
