Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
Mara Sidai Camp is a small camp and has not occupied a big area destroying the environment. The camp mostly employs people from the Masai community.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Most of the staff at the Mara Sidai Camp are native to the Masai community who have been employed here since the camp started its operation. The camp therefore, has been very important financially for the locals. The camp is located on a small portion of land outside the Masai Mara National Reserve and did not destroy a large area to build their accommodation.
