Mara Hippo Safari Lodge is in a prime location for excellent game drives. The lodge has 40 well furnished and maintained self-contained and double rooms. The lodge also has budget tents, where you can camp up to 4 people; there is a room available to suit all travellers' budgets. The lodge is well secured with 24 hour security personnel and an electric fence. The security personnel are the brave Masai Morans who also entertain you at the lodge in the evening after dinner.

Mara Hippo Safari Lodge is fenced with an electric fence and guarded during the day and at night. At night, it is guarded by 25 Masai Morans who also entertain the visitors wearing their very colorful clothes as they perform the traditional dances. They have experienced and professional chefs and cater to local and international tastes. At night after game drives, you can enjoy a tusker as their pub next to the dining hall or ask for variety of cocktails.

- While sharing a room with parent(s) in a baby cot, children below the age of 4 years can stay free of charge
- A maximum of two children below the age of 4 years sharing with parent(s) shall be charged 50% of the room rate
- Children staying in their own room (12 to 18 years) shall be charged 80% of the room rate
