Base camp is located about 2 kilometres from the Talek Gate. The camp is located on a loop in the River Talek.

Getting there
The Camp is located about 290 km from Nairobi, travelling by Nairobi Narok Road. The drive takes 7 hours on a well paved road (with some gravel) before you get to Masai Mara. The camp is only 6 km from the Talek Gate.
By air from Nairobi Wilson Airport, you land at Olokiobo Airstrip and you will then transferred to the camp, which is 40 minutes from the airstrip by the camp vehicles.
