The Base Camp is eco-friendly for nature lovers, photographers, naturalists and adventurers. The accommodation's layout gives the visitors the feeling of being part of the wilderness; while at the same time enjoying the luxuries of a hot shower, comfortable beds, excellent meals and 24 hour security provided by the Masai people. At the Base Camp, you will meet the Masai people who are very colourful. Guests have the opportunity to speak with the local and visit their homesteads, popularly known as the Manyattas. You will also be able to experience the open savannah near the Base Camp and thousands of the wildebeest.
Facilities & Services
Fresh-ground coffee at sunrise is offered and breakfast rolls are made straight from the oven.
Three-course dinners are in the open, thatched-roof dining hall. Guests all enjoy watching the sun go down on the platform of the viewing Base Camp Masai Mara tower while silhouettes of elephants and giraffes wander slowly into the sunset.
Hot tea or a nightcap accompanying stories of the day's adventures are told around the evening campfire. Base Camp marks an ideal destination of travellers.

Special consideration is possible for an extended departure time, though subject to room availability.
Children policy:
While sharing a room with parent(s) in a baby cot, children below the age of 4 years can stay free of charge.
A maximum of two children below the age of 4 yrs sharing with parent(s) will be charged 50% of the room rate.
Children staying in their own room (12 to 18 yrs) shall be charged 80% of the room rate.
