Cancellation policy

Safaris that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay, or reduced in the number of passengers are subject to cancellation and No-show fees as follows:

* Cancellations made 0 to 7 days before the start of the tour will be charged 100% of the booking.
* Cancellations made 8 to 12 days before the start of the tour will be charged 50% of the booking.
* Cancellations made 13 to 55 days before the start of the tour will be charged 25% of the booking.

 - In case of cancellation, 16% VAT will be deducted from the full amount .

Aberdares National Park has an immense wealth of animals which include big herds of elephants and buffalos among many more animals. At the Treetops Lodge the salt lik and waterholes attract many animals during the day and night. While here at Aberdares, if lucky you can see the Bongo antelope which is very rare. Treetops Lodge was built in 1932 and princess Elizabeth was announced queen while at this lodge. Lake Nakuru National Park is a bird watcher’s paradise since it has over 450 different birds and millions of flamingos which carpet the lake. In Masai Mara you will have a great opportunity to search for the ‘Big Five’ which are lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants.

Day 1 - Aberdares- Tree Hotel

Our journey sets off from Nairobi to the Aberdares. Arrive in Outspan Hotel in Nyeri town which is the Tree Tops Hotel Base. You will then be driven to Treetops Hotel by the hotel's bus. This is where Elizabeth II learnt of her father’s death and was later crowned to Queen Elizabeth. The hotel overlooks the floodlit waterhole which is the animal’s favourite area to quench their thirst and also enjoy a nice bathe. As dusk creeps in, enjoy the scenery sunset while viewing the wild animals enjoying themselves at the water hole. A scrumptious dinner is served and a pleasant sleep closes the day.

Day 2 - Aberdares –Samburu

After breakfast and check out, your journey will continue further north past the equator to the skirting of the northern frontier, you will arrive to the Samburu National Reserve just in time for lunch and later have an early evening game drive. After the drive, you return to the lodge to enjoy cool drink in your hand whilst watching the wonderful sunset which is followed by lovely meal.

Day 3 - Samburu Full Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will explore this unique park that has lovely scenery and wildlife species that are rare to find any where else apart from this part of the country. The reserve is home to the shy beisa oryx, Somali ostriches which have distinct blue legs, the grevy zebra, the reticulated giraffe and the gerenuk that has a long neck adopted for feed high bush scrubs. Elephant are also found in the reserve, while the crocodiles can be spotted at the river banks.

Day 4 - Samburu -Nakuru National Park

Immediately after having your breakfast, the safari to Nakuru begins driving all the way down to the floor of the Rift Valley, arriving at the lodge right in time for lunch. Later, you will proceed for a game drive in this “bird watchers' paradise” of the Lake Nakuru National park, which is home to thousands of flamingos. Exploring the park will take you into evening when you will return to the lodge for dinner and spend your evening.

Day 5 - Nakuru -Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have an early breakfast, and then have a game drive enroute to Masai Mara Reserve. You will arrive at the lodge and have lunch. You shall later on have an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge to refresh and relax after the adventurous filled day.

Day 6 - Masai Mara National Reserve

This day will be spent exploring on this great wildlife sanctuary, here you can see the big five which are: lion, leopard, rhino, Elephant and a buffalo it is on this plain that the eye catching action of the wildebeests takes place. This is a spectacle that should not be missed by any nature lover and should be witnessed at least once in a lifetime. From the lodge you can organize a safari by balloon a truly breathtaking experience and a great way to see the savannah plains and the wildlife. After landing, you will be welcomed and treated with sparkling champagne breakfast and later on the balloon captain will present to you a flight certificate.

Day 7 - Masai Mara -Back to Nairobi

You have breakfast and check-out of the lodge and the journey back to Nairobi begins, arriving in the afternoon.
